When you hear Shakespeare, what comes to mind?
Romeo and Juliet? Hamlet? Julius Caesar?
Even if you haven't read these, they’re familiar. Why?
Because Shakespeare’s writing was too damn good. So good that he’s making millions of sales to this day.
For business owners, that means if you want sales forever (even after you’re dead), you need to be writing.
I’m not talking about the boring, sleep-inducing, flat-earthed newspapers.
I’m talking about:
Bringing Your Writing to Life
In this series of articles, I’ll show you how to craft engaging articles, videoscripts, blogs, social media posts and much more.
No confusing grammar rules, no jargon. Just real, actionable tips to help you write like the "Shakespeare" of your market and make more sales.
Let’s get started.
Hijacking People’s Interest Right Away
Picture this: You’re at an amusement park.
You have two choices:
1) Wait behind 100+ people to ride on the largest roller coaster.
2) Go to a smaller, fun ride with barely any wait.
Most content feels like standing in that long line. The reader’s brain thinks, "Ugh, do I really want to wade through all this?"
It doesn’t matter how good your message is—if your audience feels overwhelmed, they’ll leave before you make your point.
Your job is to hook them immediately.
Look at this article. It’s quick, clear, and easy to read. No long paragraphs, no complicated words. That’s the secret to keeping your readers engaged.
Not Every Piece Needs To Be Easy
Sure, the biggest roller coaster is the most fun—but does the line have to be 100 people long?
No. You can create the thrill without the wait.
Similarly, not all content needs to be oversimplified. You can write complex, in-depth pieces—just make sure your formatting is easy to follow. Hook them early and keep them going with clear, digestible sections.
That’s just the start though. Much more is coming.
P.S. Want to know how I’d seduce your prospects into consuming all your content and eventually buying your stuff? Fill out this form here.
If we’re a good fit I’ll personally take a look at your business and come up with a strategy of what I’d do differently and discuss it with you in depth on a call.
No cost, no obligation.
